Halfway Through Spring 2026—And So Much to Celebrate
As we pass the halfway point of our Spring 2026 season, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has already been a wonderful few months for Aloha United Soccer Club.
First, we’ve been incredibly fortunate with the weather. Spring soccer in Oregon can be unpredictable, but this season has brought us a stretch of truly beautiful days that have made practices, games, and time on the sidelines all the more enjoyable. We know not every season is this kind to us, so we’re grateful for every sunny afternoon and dry field.
This season has also been special because of the energy, growth, and connection we’re seeing across the club. One highlight was our Oregon Surf Volunteer Day with our Grade 2–4 players and coaches. It was a really neat experience and a great example of what makes youth sports so valuable—not just skill development, but community, teamwork, and giving back. We’re proud of the way our young players and coaches represented the club and participated in something meaningful together.
As we look ahead, there is still plenty of soccer left this spring, and we’re excited for a strong second half of the season. At the same time, we also want families to be thinking about what’s next: Fall 2026 registration will open in early May. We’re looking forward to welcoming returning players and new families as we continue building a positive, competitive, and community-centered club experience.
Thank you to our players, families, coaches, and volunteers for everything you do to make Aloha United such a special place. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished so far this spring, and we’re even more excited about what’s ahead.
See you on the pitch,
Jeff Lang - President
