Looking Ahead to Fall 2026—and Celebrating Our Club Community

As we head into summer, I want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate some exciting news from around Aloha United Soccer Club.

First, we are incredibly proud to share that three of our coaches have been nominated for OYSA’s Recreational Coach of the Year. That is a tremendous honor and a reflection of the time, care, and energy our coaches pour into their teams every season. We are grateful not only for the way they teach the game, but for the way they support, encourage, and help our players grow on and off the field. Congratulations to to Bao Le, Heather Neumeier, and John Farmer for being Finalists and best of luck at the OYSA Gala on May 30th when the winners are announced.

We’re also excited to share that registration for Fall 2026 is now open. As we begin looking ahead to the next season, we can’t wait to welcome back returning players and families and also meet new members joining our club community. Fall is always a special time, and we’re looking forward to another season of development, competition, and connection.

Before the season gets underway, we’re planning to hold our Fall Kickoff Party on August 8th. It will be a great opportunity for families, players, coaches, and volunteers to come together, celebrate the start of a new soccer year, and enjoy time as a club community.

We’ve also recently learned that OYSA will be hosting its inaugural Kickoff Cup in August. The tournament is scheduled for August 28–30, 2026, in the Portland Metro area, and is designed for recreational teams ages U9 through U14 in a 7v7 format, with a festival-style atmosphere for players and families to enjoy. It sounds like a fun way to begin the fall season, and we’re excited to share more as plans come together.

As always, none of this would be possible without the support of our volunteers. Thank you to everyone who gives their time to help make Aloha United such a positive and welcoming place for kids and families. Your efforts behind the scenes make a real difference and help keep this club strong.

We hope everyone has a wonderful summer break and finds time to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends. We’re excited for what’s ahead and look forward to seeing you back on the pitch soon.

See you on the pitch,
